Under the general supervision of the OM (Operations Manager) and OC (Operations coordinator), the Operations Assistant will assist with the supervision, and coordination of the day-to-day operations of Compassion HomeCare. This is a maternity replacement position starting August 31st, 2026.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Aiding in the implementation of goals, policies, procedures, and systems for all operational areas of CHC.
- Serving as a liaison between the Operations Manager, Operations Coordinator and other CHC office personnel (Managers and Service coordinators)
- Assist with documentation review of all office items (including office audits, new hires lists, Monthly documents, Occupational Health & Safety meetings, etc.) when needed.
- Help with the tracking of documentation and submissions of items when received
- Monitoring office and issues that arise when Operations Manager and Operations Coordinator are out of office or in meetings.
- Ensure OHS Committees are implemented in all offices, all required training is completed, and all OHS reports are sent to proper departments on time.
- Maintain contact with OHS committees to ensure standards meet scheduled meetings and documentation is completed properly.
- Working with staff to ensure quality client care and services are provided.
- Social Media development when required.
- Helping with the planning for company events including but not limited to annual get together when needed.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Help with IT items when necessary.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Mandatory Get together attendance.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
