Job Summary
SenseBloom Therapy & Development Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructor Therapist (Part-Time) with previous ABA Experience to join our growing multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy to children in clinic, daycare, school, and home-based settings.
This role is ideal for professionals who are client-focused, adaptable, and passionate about supporting children with diverse developmental needs. The position requires a flexible schedule, with availability during weekdays and weekends as needed.
Duties
- Implement ABA therapy programs in 1:1 and group settings as designed by Senior Therapists/BCBAs
- Deliver therapy sessions in clinic, home, school, and daycare environments
- Collect, record, and graph data accurately during and after sessions
- Follow individualized treatment plans, behaviour support plans, and skill-acquisition programs
- Implement behaviour-reduction strategies using evidence-based ABA techniques
- Maintain clear, timely, and professional session notes and documentation
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and families as required
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and training sessions
- Ensure client safety, confidentiality, and ethical practice at all times
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instructor Therapist or in a similar role
- Previous education in a related field (e.g., Psychology, ABA, Child & Youth Care, Developmental Studies, Education)
- Ability to work across multiple settings (clinic, home, school, daycare)
- Flexible availability, including weekend work
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Valid Police Background Check (Vulnerable Sector) required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams are required
