About the Opportunity
We are an expanding 13-room motel currently undergoing exciting renovations. As we prepare to welcome guests and incrementally open our rooms, we are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to oversee the property's cleanliness and daily operations.
This is a unique ground-floor opportunity. You will start by helping us prep the initial rooms for opening and, as we scale up, you will have the chance to help build and train your own housekeeping team. We are highly flexible and happy to accommodate a manager who prefers either a part-time or full-time schedule long-term.
What You’ll Do
- Room Preparation & Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and prepare motel rooms daily to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Laundry Management: Process, fold, and organize all motel linens and towels.
- Property Upkeep: Keep the exterior grounds and walkways neat, tidy, and welcoming.
- Team Leadership: Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training additional housekeeping staff as more rooms open and guest volume increases.
Schedule & Hours
- Shifts: Typically begin at 9:00 AM daily.
- Hours: Initially 20–25 hours per week. As more rooms open, hours can increase to full-time (40 hours/week) if desired. We are also completely open to keeping this role part-time and hiring additional staff to support you.
- Weekends: Weekend availability is required to start, but can be reduced once additional housekeepers are hired and trained.
Compensation & Benefits
- Wage: $24.00 / hour
- Perk: $50.00 / month cell phone allowance
- Benefits: Comprehensive health benefits provided after 90 days of successful employment.
