Are you passionate about gymnastics and inspiring young athletes? Do you enjoy leading a team, creating exceptional programs, and helping coaches grow? Gemini Gymnastics is looking for a motivated and organized Recreational Program Coordinator to lead our thriving recreational program.
Gemini Gymnastics offers a wide variety of recreational gymnastics programs for children of all ages and is proud to be home to one of the region's successful Women's Artistic Gymnastics competitive programs. We're looking for a positive, dependable leader who is excited to help deliver an outstanding experience for every athlete and family who walks through our doors.
What You'll Do
As our Recreational Program Coordinator, you'll play a key role in the success and growth of our recreational program by:
- Coordinating and managing recreational gymnastics programming.
- Developing seasonal schedules and overseeing class organization.
- Overseeing recreational coaches to ensure they are creating fun, engaging, and progressive lesson plans.
- Leading coach meetings and mentoring our recreational coaching team.
- Supporting coach development through training, feedback, and ongoing education.
- Managing registrations and program administration.
- Assisting with website updates and social media content.
- Building positive relationships with athletes, families, and staff through excellent communication and customer service.
- Helping create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where every child can build confidence and develop a lifelong love of gymnastics.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Be able to coordinate or manage recreational gymnastics programs.
- Has a strong artistic gymnastics background with previous coaching experience.
- Be able to coach recreational classes or higher.
- Holds NCCP Women's Artistic Gymnastics Level 1 (Competition Introduction) certification or higher (or is willing to obtain certification).
- Possesses strong technical knowledge and can confidently teach fundamental and advanced gymnastics skills.
- Has excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office, registration software, website management tools, and social media platforms.
- Is dependable, enthusiastic, and enjoys working collaboratively with coaches, athletes, and families.
Hours & Compensation
- Part-time position (15–35 hours per week, based on availability).
- Late afternoon, evening, and weekend availability is required.
- Hourly wage based on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
