As a Senior Project Architect, you will hold a crucial position within our architecture firm, overseeing and guiding complex projects from start to finish. Your main role will be to lead the design team throughout all project phases, ensuring that design intent aligns with client objectives, budgetary constraints, and regulatory standards. Leveraging your extensive technical expertise and architectural knowledge, you will innovate design solutions and develop detailed construction documents using leading industry software and tools. Collaboration will be essential as you work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to seamlessly integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into architectural designs. Your responsibilities will also encompass managing project timelines, resources, and quality control to deliver projects that are not only visually impactful but also functional, sustainable, and in line with our firm’s commitment to design excellence. Lead and manage complex architectural projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to design intent, client requirements, budget constraints, and regulatory standards.

Direct and oversee the design team throughout all project phases, including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.

Utilize extensive technical expertise and architectural knowledge to innovate design solutions that integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems effectively.

Develop and produce detailed construction drawings, specifications, and materials selections using industry-standard software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to foster productive working relationships and achieve project goals.

Manage project budgets, timelines, resources, and quality control measures to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

15+ Years of progressive experience as a Project Architect and be eligible for registration with the AAA.

Ability to lead and motivate design teams, ensuring cohesive collaboration and effective project execution.

Strong design sensibility and the ability to develop innovative architectural solutions that meet client needs and project requirements.

Proficiency in managing project budgets, timelines, resources, and quality control measures to achieve successful project outcomes.

Extensive knowledge of architectural design principles, building systems, construction materials, and industry-standard software (e.g. Revit).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal staff, to achieve project objectives.

Analytical mindset and the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues during design and construction phases.

Skill in cultivating and maintaining client relationships, understanding their goals, and translating them into architectural solutions.

Thorough understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution, along with relevant professional licensure (e.g., registered architect).
