The Opportunity
We're hiring an Online STEM Tutor to deliver engaging, one-on-one and small-group sessions covering Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. From a middle schooler struggling with basic chemistry to a high school student tackling advanced physics or coding, you'll be the educator who makes complex concepts click. If you thrive on breaking down challenging ideas and lighting up a student's curiosity for STEM, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online STEM tutoring sessions tailored to each student's grade level, subject, and individual learning goals
- Develop structured lesson plans that make Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math concepts clear, relevant, and engaging
- Identify and address individual learning gaps through targeted instruction and guided practice
- Use Educify's virtual learning tools to deliver interactive, hands-on sessions that keep students engaged
- Monitor and document student progress, providing regular, constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a genuine love of STEM in every session
Qualifications
- Strong command of one or more STEM disciplines — Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Technology (coding, computer science), Engineering concepts, or Mathematics
- Previous tutoring, teaching, or instructional experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, Education, or a related discipline is an asset
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify and explain complex technical concepts to students of varying ages and skill levels
- Patient, analytical, and adaptable teaching style with the ability to meet each student where they are
- Reliable high-speed internet connection, laptop, and webcam

Compensation
$18–$32 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
