Server's Assistant/Support - Faro
Working in alignment with the core values and operational standards of the Oak Bay Beach Hotel, the Support is a key member of the Food & Beverage team. This role supports the service staff by ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of food from the kitchen to guests, contributing to a seamless and memorable dining experience at the Faro.
This position requires open availability for shifts on both weekdays and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist the food & beverage team with day-to-day restaurant service
- Ensure all areas of the restaurant are kept clean
- Provide all guests of hotel with consistent service
- Motivate and engage team members to consistently deliver the best possible service to guests
- Actively lead by example and maintain a supportive, positive and engaging profile
- Resolve guest concerns efficiently and courteously
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
- Sincere customer focus and true appreciation for the guest experience.
- Highly organized, able to prioritize the guest experience while supporting the F&B service team
- Proven ability to multi-task and set priorities based on a constantly changing business environment.
- Effective decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment.
- Strong personal integrity with an innate desire to work in an ethical manner.
- Must be available Friday and Saturday nights.
