Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Taco Builder / Kitchen Help. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our restaurant by assisting with food preparation, cooking, and food service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, a strong focus on food safety, and experience in restaurant or kitchen environments. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling tacos and other menu items according to recipes and standards
- Support cooking processes by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures at all times
- Serve customers at the counter or during meal service, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Support team members during busy hours to ensure timely meal preparation and service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly techniques
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if needed
