Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and other appliances
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area throughout the shift
- Serve customers promptly and courteously, providing excellent food service
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels by restocking ingredients and supplies as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Experience with meal preparation and kitchen operations within the food industry is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills related to pizza making and food service operations
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
