We're looking for a senior Business Development Manager who enjoys building relationships with experienced financial advisors and helping them grow their businesses.
This is a relationship-driven role, not a cold sales position. Your primary responsibility will be identifying, recruiting and onboarding established insurance and investment advisors across Canada.
What You'll Do
- Identify and recruit experienced financial advisors across Canada
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of advisor prospects
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand each advisor's practice and growth goals
- Present the advantages of partnering with Eau Claire Partners
- Coordinate a seamless onboarding experience for new advisors
- Build long-term relationships with advisors and centres of influence
- Attend networking events and industry conferences
- Collaborate with leadership to execute recruiting initiatives and growth strategies
- Track recruiting activity and maintain an organized CRM pipeline
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of business development, recruiting or relationship management experience
- Experience in insurance, investments, banking, wealth management or financial services
- Proven ability to build relationships with professionals and business owners
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Professional, confident and highly accountable
- Experience recruiting financial advisors is considered a strong asset
