Toyota Tsusho Canada, Inc. (TTCI) located in Woodstock, ON is looking for a driven, passionate and confident communicator to fill the position of Outside Sales Specialist.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to elevate their career by driving new business relationships by developing and closing opportunities that are aligned with TTCI’s strategic focus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following (non-inclusive):
- Own, fuel, and accelerate a high‑velocity new‑business pipeline that propels TTCI’s strategic vision
- Proactively engage new and existing customers through meetings, site visits and networking to understand their business needs and uncover new opportunities
- Cold call new and prospective customers, developing new avenues to engage with customers
- Identify and target potential customers within the automotive and mobility supply chain, with a focus on value-added services, tariff mitigation, and supply chain solutions
- Lead the full commercial process from initial contact through quotation, negotiation, and business award
- Develop clear and compelling customer proposals that highlight TTCI’s capabilities and value proposition
- Build strong internal alignment with Operations, Engineering, and Corporate functions to ensure successful execution of awarded business
- Maintain an active and structured pipeline, with clear tracking of opportunities, status, and next actions
- Monitor, report, and act on your pipeline with precision—track opportunities, status, next actions, and spotlight risks and wins
- Represent TTCI as a dynamic ambassador at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to expand influence and network
- Continuously scan market trends, customer pain points, and competitor moves to identify fresh growth engines
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role; driving or supporting outside sales, account management with strong focus to customer engagement and retention
- A persuasive, magnetic communicator who loves conversations and is capable of conveying complex ideas with clarity
- A self‑starter and relationship builder who thrives on high‑volume outreach and cold calling—leveraging an existing network to drive business opportunities and growth
- Champion business initiatives that deliver measurable results with limited direction
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or supply‑chain roles (automotive preferred) with a track record of hitting bold targets
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP/CRM systems is a plus
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 25% domestic/international travel to capture opportunities
- Ability and willingness to commute to or relocate to Woodstock, ON (on‑site role)
