Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in application and web development, with a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software solutions. Duties
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web and application software solutions using technologies such as Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, and.NET.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integration points with third-party services using industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices including GitHub, SVN, Git, and Agile methodologies.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to ensure robust system performance.
- Design database schemas and manage data operations using SQL databases like MySQL and MS SQL Server; utilize Linux environments for deployment and testing.
- Mentor junior team members in software development processes, coding standards, and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies to recommend improvements for existing systems or new project initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software development with expertise in web development, application development, and front-end technologies such as JavaScript.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, VBA, and C.
- Extensive experience working with APIs (RESTful services), cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), version control systems (GitHub, SVN), and Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems for deployment environments.
- Hands-on experience with database management systems like MySQL and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks and tools is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to articulate technical concepts clearly.

Pay: $125,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
