Dirty Laundry Winery is looking for a creative, self motivated, highly organized and detailed oriented Assistant Hospitality Manager.
As part of the team, you will be working within a busy seasonal winery under the direction of the Hospitality Manager. As part of the position, you will have a keen eye for detail, ability to prioritize, develop and nurture effective communication and be able to deliver objectives to Management and the Executive staff. Must have great understanding of retail inventory, and have excellent written and verbal communication.
We are looking for an individual who shares values in professional integrity, teamwork, positive attitude, accountability and independent thinking.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and motivate Tasting Room staff to consistently deliver a world class experience

Drive the merchandise sales from the tasting room including:

Prepare purchase orders

Receive orders and ensure price & quantity accuracy

Merchandise placement
-
Monitor inventory levels
-
Maintain and update records
-
Analyze inventory/sales for reordering

Work with Hospitality Manager to manage labour costs effectively.

Basic Wine Knowledge or Wine Ambassador Level 2 is preferred

Have valid Driver's License
