OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Plant 1 Manager, the Yard Operator is responsible for the loading and unloading of finished products. Occasional Saturdays are required.
THE DAY TO DAY
-
Work in an organized and safe manner according to the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) and company policies
-
Operate specialized equipment including, forklift, shunt truck and overhead gantry crane
-
Load and unload precast concrete, using appropriate stacking methods
-
Follow loading instructions according to provided paperwork

Use hoisting and rigging equipment according to the OHSA and company procedures
-
Responsible for the placement and security of products to ensure safe transportation

Other duties as requested by management
