Job Summary
A Fresh Look General Contracting is seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be skilled in both rough carpentry and finish carpentry, capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship on residential, commercial, and government projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform rough carpentry work, including:
- Framing walls, floors, and roofs
- Installing subfloors, sheathing, and structural components
- Perform finish carpentry work, including:
- Installing doors, windows, trim, baseboards, and crown mouldings
- Interior finishing and detailed carpentry work
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials
- Ensure projects are completed according to plans, building codes, and company standards
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades on-site
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of rough and finish carpentry techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have own carpentry tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions
