Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in/Live-out Nanny to provide attentive care and support for a child in a warm and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere while assisting with daily routines. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for a child, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child's dietary needs
- Assist with daily activities including dressing, bathing, and bedtime routines
- Engage children in educational activities, play, and age-appropriate teaching to promote growth and learning
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to the child's care, including cleaning toys, laundry, and maintaining their living spaces
- Support with homework or learning activities as needed
- Foster positive behavior and social skills through guidance and encouragement
Skills
- Experience working with children of various ages, including infants and toddlers
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks suitable for children
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices, including safety protocols and child development principles
- Compassionate approach to working with individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Strong cleaning skills to maintain a tidy environment for the children
- Teaching abilities to support early education and developmental milestones
- Cooking skills for meal preparation that meets dietary requirements
- Patience, reliability, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families
