What You'll Be Doing
As our Patient Experience Specialist, you'll be one of the first friendly faces and voices our patients connect with. You'll help keep our clinic running smoothly while creating a welcoming, stress-free experience for every patient.
Your Day May Include:
- Greeting patients with a smile and checking them in and out for their appointments.
- Owning and managing our master schedule by booking, rescheduling, and optimizing appointments to keep our days running efficiently.
- Answering phone calls with kindness and professionalism while helping patients with scheduling, questions, and appointment requests.
- Verifying vision insurance and checking health cards to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Responding to emails and communicating with patients in a timely and professional manner.
- Sending referrals and communicating with other healthcare providers.
- Completing appointment reminders and patient recalls to help our community stay on top of their eye health.
- Processing payments, balancing daily transactions, and completing cash reconciliations with accuracy.
- Completing OHIP reconciliations and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Assisting with inventory counts and helping keep our clinic organized and well-stocked.
- Jumping in wherever needed to support your teammates and create an amazing experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
What We're Looking For

- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing in a busy environment.
- Confident using computers and learning new software.
- A strong communicator both in person and over the phone.
- Dependable, proactive, and eager to learn.
- A true team player who brings positive energy every day.
Healthcare, optometry, dental, or medical office experience is considered an asset,but if you're enthusiastic, organized, and excited to grow, we'd love to hear from you!
