Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable retired / semi-retired , Part-Time Facilities Assistant to support the maintenance and cleanliness of our facilities. This role is ideal for individuals who have a customer service background and are detail-oriented, proactive, and interested in contributing to a safe and well-maintained environment. The Facilities Assistant will play a key role in ensuring that our workspace remains clean, organized, and fully functional to support daily operations.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks across various areas of the facility, including washrooms and changerooms, gym, mirrors and common spaces.
- Conduct basic facilities maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, doing minor repairs, and reporting larger issues to management
- Support general facilities upkeep by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is in good working order
- learn pool and hot tub maintenance
- Office responsibilities, and good communication skills.
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety and cleanliness
- Basic principles of pool and hot tub maintenance.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
