The newly renovated Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fredericton is seeking an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead the care and upkeep of our beautiful 91-room hotel.

What You'll Do
As our Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel is operating safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our guests expect.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and general building systems.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, exterior grounds, and mechanical equipment.
- Coordinate and supervise outside contractors and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection logs, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Assist with snow removal, salting walkways, landscaping, and seasonal exterior maintenance.
- Support renovation touch-ups and ongoing property improvement projects.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency situations.
What We're Looking For
- Previous hotel or commercial building maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Excellent troubleshooting and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Friendly, professional attitude with a commitment to outstanding guest service.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically active position that requires the ability to:
- Frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Climb ladders and work at heights.
- Bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach overhead.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Operate maintenance equipment and power tools safely.
- Respond quickly to emergency maintenance situations.
