AMB LIFT INC. is seeking a Parts Specialist to join our growing team in Peterborough, Ontario. Start as soon as possible.
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who can support our customers, technicians, and branch operations with parts ordering, quoting, invoicing, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in locating required parts and provide pricing information
- Prepare accurate shop quotes and road service quotes
- Complete online parts orders and create/process customer invoices
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide problem-solving support
- Receive, unload, and store incoming parts and materials
- Locate parts and materials and ship them to customers and other branches
- Support service technicians as needed
- Place stock orders and manage inventory and bin adjustments
- Maintain accurate documentation of shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions
- Use parts and warehousing equipment, software, and computer systems
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service skills, in person and over the phone
- Strong attention to detail, especially with quotes, invoices, and order accuracy
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Good organizational and multitasking skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the parts or warehousing industry
- Knowledge of material handling equipment parts (asset but not required)
- Experience with quoting (shop and road service), invoicing, or order processing
