Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are both beautiful and functional. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping, an eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners to execute various landscaping projects.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently for tasks such as digging, planting, and building garden beds.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Build structures such as fences, trellises, or raised garden beds as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of job sites by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; we value a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping is essential.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to dig, plant, irrigate, and maintain gardens effectively is highly desirable.
- Strong physical stamina is necessary to perform tasks that require lifting, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
