Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator for our stone fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a bridge saw and a CNC router used in the fabrication process, ensuring high-quality production standards, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing setting, utilizing mechanical skills and technical expertise to contribute to the creation of premium stone products.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor stone fabrication machinery, including CNC machine, bridge saw, grinders, and polishers
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Set up machines according to specifications and production requirements
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects
- Use hand tools, power tools.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Has experience in stone fabrication and installation.
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating manufacturing.
- Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse procedures is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment safely is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while adhering to safety standards
Pay: $23.00-$33.00 per hour
