The Wee Gym is a Newfoundland owned recreational gymnastics club located in Conception Bay South. The Wee Gym offers a positive atmosphere where infants to children age 12 can develop and grow. Our extraordinary staff provide both children and parents with an outstanding customer experience that will keep them wanting more.
The Wee Gym is currently looking for a part-time Gymnastics Coach to join our team.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Lesson planning, instructing classes, spotting and grading report cards
- Communicate with children and parents about children’s progress
- Perform cleaning duties
- Reporting to management
The successful applicants must:
- Be enthusiastic, energetic, self motivated and reliable
- Outgoing, polite and punctual
- Enjoy working with children and has the ability to build a rapport with children and parents
- Have a background in gymnastics, cheer or acrobatic dance
- Be able to create and execute lesson plans and drills
- Be available to work weeknights and weekends.
- Be able to present a clear Vulnerable Sector Screening and Criminal Record Check
- NCCP Gymnastics Foundations course would be considered an asset
- Emergency First Aid and CPR certification would be considered an asset
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Conception Bay South, NL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
