The Procurement/Buyer will be responsible for all aspects of activities related to the procurement of goods and services for Metrolinx’s Legacy Fleet Maintenance operations.
This individual will collaborate with the management team, customers, suppliers, partners and involved stakeholders.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager will be accountable for the planning and implementation activities relating to the purchasing of products and services. Follow up on all awards through completion of orders. Negotiates with suppliers and determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with product availability, quality, reliability, and ability to meet schedule.
