Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing and related trades, providing a solid foundation for a career in the construction and maintenance industries. Responsibilities
- Assist skilled plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams relevant to plumbing projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely and effectively
- Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and related components
- Participate in site preparation, cleanup, and organization of materials and tools
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
- Gain knowledge of schematics, basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations, and welding techniques as needed
- Perform routine inspections and assist with troubleshooting plumbing issues under supervision
Experience
- No prior professional experience required; however, familiarity with mechanical knowledge, carpentry, HVAC systems, or construction is a plus
- Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, schematics, and assembly processes is advantageous
- Prior exposure to welding or maintenance work is beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong willingness to learn new skills related to plumbing and related trades
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely in various environments
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are preferred
