What you’ll do
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to deliver goods to various locations, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Load and unload products with care, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, ensuring all paperwork is completed efficiently.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing top-notch customer service during each delivery.
- Navigate delivery routes effectively while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with operational standards.
- Assist in warehouse tasks when not on the road, contributing to overall team efficiency.
Basic qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving box trucks.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
- Strong driving skills, including proficiency in manual transmission vehicles.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier in a similar role.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
