Reports to: Assistant Manager
The Body Shop’s front-line contact with the public. They are comfortable and excel in front of customers in person, by phone, by text, and by video call. A successful candidate is measured by their ability to provide exceptional customer service through detailed and constant communication. A successful candidate is highly empathetic, great with customers, and very organized. An interest and affinity in cars and the auto industry will be a plus. Auto knowledge not required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communicate with Customers
- Greeting customers and answering phones in a prompt, courteous and businesslike manner
- Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the time they are put on hold.
- Keep customers informed of job status so as to include them in the process
- Schedule customer appointments
- Schedule customers for Quotes
- Schedule customers for Vehicle Repair Drop Off
- Schedule customer for Vehicle Delivery
- Perform the Intake of Vehicles
- Conduct vehicles in-takes by completing walk around, taking pictures and documenting vehicle problems by listening to customers describe them and by asking probing questions; providing recommendations when required.
- Perform the Delivery of Vehicles
- Follow-up with customers when work is completed and arrange for pick up and payment
· Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries.
- Constantly communicates with Technicians/Shop Manager to obtain information on needed vehicle repairs.
· Prepare and update customer files
- Closing out repair orders completed
· Perform clerical and administrative and other duties as assigned.
Hours of Work:
8:00 AM to 5:00PM
Experience:
- Customer Service: 2 years (Required)
- Administrative: 2 years (Required)
Qualifications:
· Must speak clearly on the telephone and convey an image of professionalism
· Must have an enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
· Must be able to convey messages to employees clearly and quickly.
- Ability to work as a part of a TEAM
- MS Office (fluent)
- Computer Skills a must
Licence:
· Driver's (Required G) Clean abstract
