Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on individual to join our team as a Maintenance & Housekeeping Support Associate. This role combines light interior and exterior maintenance, seasonal grounds keeping, and support for our housekeeping and laundry operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically active, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks to help keep our property clean, safe, and well-maintained year-round.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance
- Perform light interior and exterior maintenance and repairs as needed
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks on hotel equipment, fixtures, and common areas
- Identify and report larger repair needs to management in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of building exteriors, entrances, and walkways
Seasonal Outdoor Work
- Cut and maintain grass and landscaping during the summer months
- Perform light snow removal and ice management during the winter months to keep walkways and entrances safe
Housekeeping & Laundry Support
- Assist housekeeping staff with tasks as needed, particularly during high-occupancy periods
- Support laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Help ensure guest rooms and common areas meet the hotel's cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or a related field is an asset, but not required
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and general maintenance practices preferred
- Flexible availability, including weekends, as hotel operations require
Working Conditions
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to seasonal weather conditions
- May require standing, walking, and physical activity for extended periods
