About the Position
RAD Olive Hospitality Group is building a new kitchen team to operate food and beverage services at:
- Saskatoon Sports Centre
- Saskatoon Kinsmen/Henk Ruys Soccer Centre
We are looking for dependable line cooks and prep cooks who can produce consistent food in a busy sports and event environment.
Our kitchens will serve lounge guests, athletes, families, teams, tournaments and catered functions. Business levels can change quickly depending on games and events, so we need cooks who stay organized, communicate well and help the entire kitchen succeed.
Employees may be scheduled at either facility based on availability, events and operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Complete daily food preparation and station setup
- Work grill, fryer, oven, pantry or other assigned stations
- Maintain quality, consistency and appropriate portion control
- Prepare food for league nights, tournaments, team functions and catered events
- Monitor food levels and communicate restocking needs
- Label, date, rotate and properly store food products
- Follow food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and equipment
- Assist with receiving, inventory, dishes and general kitchen duties
- Complete opening and closing tasks
- Support other kitchen and concession team members during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or commercial kitchen experience is preferred
- Applicants with strong food preparation experience will also be considered
- Food Safe certification is an asset
- Able to follow recipes, instructions and portion standards
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Dependable and able to remain organized during busy service periods
- Able to stand for extended periods and safely perform normal kitchen lifting
- Able to reliably travel to both Saskatoon facilities
- Available for a combination of daytime, evening and weekend shifts
Schedule
Schedules will include weekday preparation shifts, evening league service, weekends, tournaments and special events. Hours may vary according to facility bookings and seasonal business levels.

Pay: $16.00-$23.00 per hour
