Laundry & Housekeeping Room Attendant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Laundry & Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness throughout the hotel by ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and hotel linens meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
The ideal candidate is fast, efficient, physically fit, and takes pride in delivering outstanding results while working in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping
- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
- Vacuum, dust, mop, sanitize bathrooms, and clean all room surfaces.
- Ensure guest rooms are clean, organized, and ready for arrival.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost and found items promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas, hallways, stairwells, and housekeeping storage rooms.
- Follow all hotel safety, security, and cleanliness procedures.
Laundry
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, bedding, uniforms, and guest laundry.
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear and report items requiring replacement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry room.
- Restock housekeeping linen closets with clean linens and supplies.
- Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping and/or laundry operations is preferred.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining excellent quality.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting up to 25 kg (55 lbs), pushing housekeeping carts, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance.
- Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and various shifts.
