Casual / On-Call / Short-Term Coverage
AAA Homecare Services is looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced female caregiver to join our team on a casual/on-call basis. This position is ideal for someone seeking flexible work opportunities to provide coverage during staff holidays, sick days, and absences.
Job Requirements
- Must be able to reliably drive to the Bearspaw community in Rocky View County
- Available during weekdays and flexible with weekend availability
- Clear understanding and communication in English is essential
- Speaking German is considered a strong asset
- Must be registered with CLHA
- Must hold a valid HCA (Health Care Aide) certificate
- Experience with late-stage dementia and total care required
- Physically capable of lifting 15–20 lbs
- Professional, compassionate, patient, and dependable
Duties May Include
- Personal care and hygiene assistance
- Mobility and transfer support
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Companionship and comfort care
- Light housekeeping related to client care
- Monitoring and reporting changes in condition
Compensation
- $20/hour
- Private contract position
- Casual / fill-in shifts as needed
