Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance. The candidate will be responsible for transporting heavy and oversized loads across various routes within a mining environment.
Responsibilities
- Move mining equipment to designated locations, using a transporter.
- Load and unload up to 120 Ton equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license is required, class 1 is prefered.
- Must pass random drug and alcohol testing.
- Proven experience hauling equipment in a mining environment.
- Basic knowledge of equipment repair is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
