We're looking for a motivated Blockchain Engineer who is excited to work on real-world blockchain applications and help build the infrastructure powering the future of global payments.
What You'll Do
Develop and maintain blockchain-based applications and backend services.
Build and integrate smart contracts for payment and settlement workflows.
Integrate wallets, blockchain APIs, and stablecoin payment rails.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve blockchain infrastructure and application performance.
Stay current with developments across Ethereum, Layer 2 networks, stablecoins, and emerging blockchain technologies.
What We're Looking For
Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience developing software using one or more of JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Go, Rust, or Solidity.
Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, Ethereum, smart contracts, or decentralized applications.
Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, databases, and cloud development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing smart contracts using Solidity or similar languages.
Familiarity with Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Solana, or other blockchain ecosystems.
Experience with Web3 libraries such as ethers.js, viem, or web3.js.
Personal blockchain projects, hackathons, internships, research experience, or open-source contributions.
Requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
