We are currently recruiting a Personal Support Workers to assist a male employer with Cerebral Palsy, to provide personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living.
Location:
- North Vancouver (Near Lower Lonsdale Community Garden)
Shifts & hours of work:
- Thursday 6pm to 10pm
- Availability to cover back-up also considered an asset
Compensation:
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- Personal care such as feeding, bathing, dressing, bowel and bladder care
- Meal preparation
- Ceiling lift transfers
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Accompanying on errands and community outings such as concerts, errands and appointments
Required Qualifications:
- Caregiving experience is an asset
- Willingness to learn
- Have basic cooking skills
- BC Drivers license (Class 4 or 5) is highly preferred (for driving wheelchair accessible van)
- Fully vaccinated
