Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to support our team in maintaining and developing outdoor spaces and agricultural areas. This role involves physical labor, operation of farm machinery, and general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn new skills related to horticulture, irrigation, and equipment operation.
Duties
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems and horticultural projects
- Operate farm machinery and power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting to move materials, plants, or equipment as needed
- Use hand tools for various maintenance tasks around the property or farm
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and infrastructure to ensure proper functioning
- Support planting, pruning, watering, and other horticultural activities
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with general farm or landscape projects under supervision
Experience
- Prior experience with mechanical knowledge, irrigation systems, horticulture, or farm machinery is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with maintenance tasks and the use of hand tools and power tools is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely is essential
- Basic math skills are necessary for measurements and calculations during project work
- Previous experience working outdoors in a physically demanding environment is a plus but not mandatory
