Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our team. Multilingual abilities and experience with high-end sales or renovation projects are considered advantageous. The Sales Specialist will play a key role in expanding our market presence and building lasting customer relationships.
Duties
- Conduct outside sales visits to prospective and existing clients, showcasing our products and services
- Perform product demos, including high-end items, to educate customers and facilitate purchasing decisions
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and account management
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain current ones
- Manage inside sales activities, including follow-up communications and order processing
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure optimal product placement and presentation
- Negotiate deals effectively to meet sales targets while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, preferences, and feedback for continuous improvement
- Stay informed about industry trends, renovation projects, construction developments, and competitor activities
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or high-end sales environments
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of renovation, construction, merchandising, and account management processes
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and tasks efficiently
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos and upselling techniques
- Experience with marketing strategies relevant to sales growth
