Position Overview
R3 is looking for experienced Skilled Labourers to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on construction or demolition experience who can work independently, use tools confidently, and contribute to high-performing crews on active job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Perform demolition and deconstruction work on commercial and industrial job sites
- Safely operate hand and power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Complete selective demolition while protecting surrounding structures
- Follow site instructions, drawings, and direction from leadership
- Support site setup, material removal, and clean-up
- Sorting, removing and properly disposing of debris including separating materials for recycle and waste
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries, including proper handling and storage of equipment and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues that may arise during the demolition/abatement processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in skilled labour or construction-related field is preferred
- Preference will be given to candidates that are willing to work out of town on occasion.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools required.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the team and perform all duties in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform & First Aid tickets are considered an asset, but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate equipment is considered an asset
- Ability to read and understand blueprints is considered an asset.

Pay: $22.50-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
