Job Description:
Net-Zero Building Solutions Ltd., located in North York, ON, is seeking a motivated and reliable Sales Representative/Business Development Representative for a full-time position. Net-zero Building Solutions Ltd. completes insulation and thermal barrier related projects, including spray foam, attic blow-in insulation, attic removal, batt and Rockwool insulation, soundproofing, vapour barrier, air barrier systems, fireproofing, and drywall-related work.

Main Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Business Development:
- Find and develop new leads by visiting construction sites, builders, contractors, homeowners, and project managers.
Project Information Collection:
- Collect complete project information before submitting a quote request.
- Required information includes customer details, project address, drawings, photos, scope of work, service type, R-value, thickness, specifications, site access notes, and bid deadlines.
- Make sure job information is clear, complete, and accurate before sending it to the office or estimator.
Quote Requests and Customer Follow-Up:
- Submit complete quote requests to the office/estimator for pricing.
- Follow up on quotes after they are sent to customers.
- Update the company on customer status, concerns, next steps, and closing opportunities.
- Track leads, quote requests, follow-ups, won/lost jobs, and customer notes.
Internal Coordination and Job Handoff:
- Coordinate with the office, estimating, and operations team to make sure job information is clear before scheduling.
- Provide complete job handoffs so the office and operations team have the information they need.
- Help avoid scheduling confusion by making sure scope, customer information, site details, and project requirements are properly communicated.
Professional Communication and Company Representation:
- Represent the company professionally when communicating with clients, contractors, builders, homeowners, project managers, and site supervisors.
- Maintain strong customer service before and after the sale.
- Communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with all customers and team members.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Sales experience is required
- Construction, insulation, drywall, renovation, or contractor sales experience is an asset.-
- Must have a full G driver’s licence and a car.
- Must have a clean driving record and clean criminal record.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, hardworking, and have good attendance.
- Motivated, self-driven, and comfortable working independently.
- Comfortable driving around the GTA and visiting active job sites.
- Able to speak professionally with builders, contractors, homeowners, and site supervisors.
- Organized and able to track leads, customer details, quotes, and follow-ups.
- Basic understanding of construction drawings, measurements, and project scope is an asset.
- Able to work overtime and weekends when requested in advance.
