Concord Pacific Developments Corp. is Canada’s largest master-planned community builder. It was formed in 1987 to develop Concord Pacific Place on the former Expo lands in downtown Vancouver, Canada.

We are actively growing our Accounting Team and hiring for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team on-site in our Vancouver head office.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional with a strong foundation in financial reporting and a proven track record managing accounting functions across multiple entities—including those tied to rental property portfolios and commercial property management.
Responsibilities:

Perform the full cycle Income Producing Property (IPP) accounting of our residential and commercial properties

Prepare annual property budgets
-
Prepares financial statements and internal management reports
-
Assists with day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of companies and projects

Ensures accuracy of accounting transactions and manages accounts and bank reconciliation processes

Compiles year-end audit working papers and liaises with auditors

Prepares partnership and corporate tax returns
-
Compiles annual operating budgets
-
Conducts variance analysis
-
Provides administrative support to the management as required

Other duties may be required
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting related position
-
CPA Designation
-
Attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work
-
Excellent people skills and strong written and verbal communication skills

Able to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
-
Competent in the use of Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, Outlook
-
Good team player, self-motivated and willing to learn
