We are looking for a bubbly, friendly, and enthusiastic Customer Service/Team Member to join our team! At Cake Cafe, we take great pride in delivering exceptional customer service and making every guest feel welcome—just like home. Our goal is to create a warm, positive atmosphere while assisting with food preparation and presentation. Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a warm smile and friendly attitude, ensuring every visit is a positive and memorable experience.
- Assist customers with their orders, answering questions and offering suggestions.
- Support baking and food preparation as needed.
- Keep the front-end area clean, organized, and well-stocked, including kitchen equipment and displays.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management.
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain product quality.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations, especially during busy hours.
- Once fully trained, confidently open and close the store, including independently when required.
Requirements
- A bubbly personality and the ability to make customers feel welcome and at ease.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus
- Must have a food handler’s certificate.
- Ability to work in a kitchen environment while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including, weekdays, weekends and holidays.
- A passion for food and a willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field.
