We are looking to hire an experienced pharmacy assistant to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

We are currently hiring staff for:
1) LifeSmart Pharmacy Osborne: 2-230 Osborne Street, Winnipeg
Hours of Operation:
A typical shift will be within the hours of 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. Weekend shifts are required, up to every second Saturday from 9am-2pm.
Compensation:
Salary TBD (experience and education taken into consideration)
Pharmacy Assistant Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Prescription intake and processing
- Ability to use Kroll and willingness to learn additional software used within the pharmacy
- Ability to operate PacMed or Synmed is an asset
- Communicate with patients both in person and other the phone
- Accurately count and label prescriptions
- Production of various forms of compliance packaging
- Maintain an organized work environment
- Send and receive orders using Pharmaclik and Kroll
- Ability to use the till software, debt/credit machine, etc.
- Following additional tasks outlined in the policy and procedure manual
- Any additional tasks required by the Pharmacy Manager and Director of Operations
Qualifications include:
- 2+ years of experience working in a community pharmacy
- Experience with Kroll
- Previous Synmed or central fill experience is an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and understand when to ask for assistance
- Able to work in a fast paced environment with limited additional technician or assistant support.
- Valid driver's license (Class 5) in Manitoba
