Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced food processing environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where safety, efficiency, and quality are paramount. Prior experience in food industry manufacturing or related fields is a plus, but training will be provided to ensure success in the role.
Duties
- Operate packaging equipment and assist with product assembly to ensure timely production flow
- Utilize forklift trucks for moving raw materials and finished products safely within the facility
- Follow strict sanitation and food safety protocols to maintain cleanliness and compliance with industry standards
- Assist in food processing tasks, including ingredient handling and quality checks
- Conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime
- Perform routine inspections of machinery and report any maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and materials used
- Support sanitation procedures during and after shifts to uphold hygiene standards
Skills
- Experience with packaging operations and forklift operation preferred
- Knowledge of food industry regulations, food safety, and sanitation practices
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues effectively
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, especially in food processing environments
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating quantities
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while adhering to safety guidelines
- Good communication skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate documentation
