About the Job
We are currently looking for an Machine Shop Operator - With Experience with Rottler and Serdi Equipment to join our team. DDR has its own machine shop on site, From Dust maging, Hot tanks all the way to Seat and Guide Machines. We are looking for another Team member to join us to continue offer top quality service and product.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to diagnose engine issues on cylinder blocks and heads
- Rebuild cylinder heads for the shop, and customers.
- Full check out on Cylinder blocks.
- Know how to use and read measuring devices.
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets/ exceeds manufacturers' specifications
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment/shop equipment
Must Haves:
- Minimum five years’ experience with Rottler and or Serdi equipment is required
- Knowledge of Cat, Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, and/or Mercedes
- Knowledge of all listed engine types is preferred however we will accept applications with knowledge of a few listed types
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Own set of well equipped hand tools
- High attention to details and precision quality workmanship
- Desire to build up knowledge, and the willingness to be trained
