A leading Vancouver intellectual property law firm is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Legal Administrative Assistant to join its collaborative team. Key Responsibilities:
· Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and other documentation
· Managing deadlines, docketing systems, and general administrative duties
· Conducting searches in IP databases
· Filing patent and trademark applications
· Supporting lawyers, patent and trademark agents, paralegals, and legal administrative assistants with a variety of practice-related tasks
· Providing additional administrative and practice support as required
Qualifications and Skills:
· Graduate of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program or equivalent experience
· Some experience in a law firm environment is considered an asset
· Strong technical skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively
· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other computer applications
· Positive, proactive, and collaborative approach with a commitment to exceptional client service
