We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join one of our client's production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating packaging equipment, inspecting products, labeling, and preparing finished goods for shipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Shift: Morning
Time: 7 am to 3:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging machines and production equipment safely and efficiently
- Package finished products according to company specifications
- Inspect products for quality and report any defects or issues
- Label, sort, and prepare products for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow workplace safety policies and procedures
- Monitor machine performance and report mechanical issues to supervisors
- Assist with general production and warehouse duties as required
- Meet daily production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is required.
- Previous packaging operator is required.
- Mechanical knowledge is considered as an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- CSA safety shoes required
Pay: $18.00-$18.40 per hour
