A rapidly growing service company ECOSAN Hygiene (www.ecosan.ca) is currently seeking to add an energetic and fun individual to join our team as a Hygiene Technician! This position helps service and grow our customer base across the Kelowna region of BC and is based from our warehouse in West Kelowna.
This is a permanent, full-time position, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (Tuesday to Friday) typically starting at 6:00am each day.
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Drive a company van to and from customer sites on a regular weekly route
- Clean and sanitize customer restroom facilities using specialized equipment
- Check and deliver restroom supplies like paper towel, toilet paper, and hand soap
- Exchange laundered products like floor mats and cloth towels
- Generate an invoice onsite using a handheld device and have the customer sign
- Provide general cleaning outside the restroom area as directed
- Offer and suggest our products to our clients
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid BC drivers license
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to bend, left and twist up to 30lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to move at a quick pace to provide efficient service
- Some customer service experience
- Some commercial cleaning experience
- Familiarity with emailing and using electronic devices (like a cell phone app)
- Flexibility of out of town overnight stays (accommodations paid)
COMPENSATION:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience
Annual wage reviews conducted
2 weeks paid vacation per year
