Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working in a dealership or similar environment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, ensuring high-quality service for our customers. The Technician will utilize various hand and power tools, demonstrate mechanical knowledge, and provide excellent customer service. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic automotive service center.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments to identify vehicle issues accurately
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on a variety of automotive systems, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts
- Assist customers by explaining repairs needed and providing excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow dealership procedures and safety protocols during all repair activities
- Assist with inventory management of parts and tools as needed
- Support sales efforts by recommending additional services or products when appropriate
Skills
- Proven experience in dealership or automotive mechanic roles
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in automotive repair
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Experience with automotive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Basic sales skills to recommend services or products to customers when appropriate
