Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. Duties
- Remove, repair, and install tires using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Perform wheel alignments, balancing, and rotation services
- Conduct vehicle inspections related to tire wear and overall mechanical condition
- Assist customers with tire selections and answer questions regarding automotive maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during tire service procedures
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks as needed
- Keep detailed records of services performed for each vehicle
Skills
- Dealership or automotive mechanic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and tire technology
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Excellent customer service skills to assist clients effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds)
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and safety standards
- Sales skills for recommending additional services or products when appropriate
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $17.20-$33.50 per hour
