Night Auditor Role Summary:
Under the supervision of the Guest Service Manager, Night Auditor will promptly answer reception switchboard and phones, acknowledge all guests, handle reservations, arrivals, sales transactions departures, reports, and provide excellent communications and impressive guest service. In addition, the Night Auditor will reconcile and ensure accuracy of daily financials and reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide noticeably outstanding guest service (constantly focused on service delivery)
- Acknowledge ALL guests within 10 feet of reception (eye contact, nod, wave or verbal greeting)
- Welcome guests checking-in to the hotel (use the guest’s name)
- Be efficient, effective and responsive with inquires and requests and provide helpful information
- Make accurate reservations and provide hotel features (and/or benefits) prior to rate information
- Advise guests of Hotel Features
- Verify accurate posting of Revenues and Payments
- Audit, reconcile, and process accurate credit card settlements
- Maintain accurate and detailed financial reports as well as operating reports generated from PMS system
- Check-out guests (use guest’s name and have a brief appropriate conversation with them)
- Harmoniously deal with all guests, team members and other colleagues
- Be familiar with the Fire Safety Plan and know your responsibilities in case of a fire/alarm
- Control guest suite keys and department keys (ensure proper sign in/out procedures are followed)
- Accomplish or assist with “Special Projects” as required

- Must be able to complete physical work including: crouching, kneeling, standing for extended period of time
- Must be able to work Night Shifts, including weekends
