Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to protect our property, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment through proactive surveillance and security measures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observation skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety is the top priority.
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through surveillance systems such as CCTV to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security of all areas
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
- Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information while ensuring security protocols are followed
- Implement loss prevention strategies by identifying potential theft or vandalism risks
- Conduct surveillance operations to deter unlawful activities and ensure compliance with company policies
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation is preferred
- Familiarity with loss prevention methods and security best practices is advantageous
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts
- Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations and handle emergencies professionally
- Certification in security or related training programs is a plus but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided for qualified candidates
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
